She has been accumulating hit songs for many years – and now she has released “Faith Hill: The Hits” to put them in one easy to find place. The CD includes 15 tracks with 2 new songs, “Red Umbrella” (released as a new single) and a live version of “Stronger.” The remainder of the album has songs that go back over a dozen years. Early hits like “Wild One” (her first single, released in 1993) and “This Kiss” mingle with newer songs like “Mississippi Girl” and her latest duet with hubby, Tim McGraw, “I Need You” which first came out on McGraw’s latest CD. Listening to this CD is like revisiting Hill’s performance during the Soul2Soul II tour this summer. The compilation shows the depth of Hill’s talent and why she should receive much more recognition from the country music industry then she has to date.
